WSIC 2025

Spanish Visual Impairment Team
The sporting proposal is articulated around a crew made up of Daniel Anglada Pich (coxswain, blind, classified B1), accompanied by Mónica Azón Canalda (tactical, sighted, Olympic sailor), and completed by a visually impaired trimmer (B1–B3) and a sighted support crew member. This composition complies with the requirements established by Notice of Race (NoR) 2025.
The practice of adapted sailing constitutes a path to social and professional inclusion by developing transferable skills such as leadership, resilience, teamwork, and autonomy. In inclusive regattas, people with and without disabilities compete under the same rules and on the same boats, with technical adaptations validated by World Sailing only when essential.
